Thaddeus “Ted” Mikulski is a passionate and committed advocate for persons who have been harmed or wronged by the acts of others. He represents individuals on claims involving employee rights, legal malpractice, consumer rights, serious personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights and workers’ compensation. He also represents businesses in litigation and he counsels business owners on diverse legal matters including employment law issues, litigation avoidance, contract negotiations and insurance coverage disputes.

As a former prosecutor, he also represents individuals charged with crimes and traffic offenses. In his 40 years of practice, Thaddeus Mikulski has helped thousands of individuals and businesses with legal problems.

Education

Mr. Mikulski graduated from The Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in 1977. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame. As a young prosecuting attorney, he learned the art of trial advocacy in more than fifty jury trials. Since then he has tried many civil and criminal cases before judges and juries in state and federal courts and administrative agencies.

Professional Appointments & Certifications

Since 1990, Thaddeus Mikulski has been certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Trial Certification.  The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey have appointed him to their arbitrator panels. The New Jersey Supreme Court appointed him to its District VII Ethics Committee, its District VII Fee Arbitration Committee and its Model Civil Jury Instructions Committee. He served as Chair of both the District VII Ethics and Fee Arbitration Committees. He currently serves on the Supreme Court Committee on Jury Selection on Criminal and Jury Trials.

Mr. Mikulski is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. AV, BV, and CV are registered certification marks of Reed Elsevier Properties Inc. used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards, and policies. Martindale-Hubbell is the facilitator of a peer review rating process that relies on the confidential opinions of members of the legal profession. Memberships

Thaddeus Mikulski is an active member of the Mercer County Bar Association and served as its President in 1999. He is a Founding Master of the Mercer County Inn of Court, an organization committed to the development of the trial skills of young attorneys.  Since 1988, he has served as an adjunct professor at the School of Business of The College of New Jersey where he lectures on diverse aspects of business law.

Thaddeus Mikulski is a member of the board of the Anchor House Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping runaway and homeless children. He enjoys riding his bicycle and often participates in the Anchor House 500 mile charity bike event, the “Ride for Runaways.” He is active in other community organizations and for many years coached CYO and other youth league soccer and softball teams.

Thaddeus Mikulski is a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice and NELA-NJ, the New Jersey Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association. He serves as Co-Chair of NELA-NJ’s Amicus Committee. He submitted Amicus Briefs on behalf of NELA-NJ before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the cases of Aguas v. State of New Jersey, 220 N. J. 494 (2015), Delvecchio v. Township of Bridgewater, 224 N.J. 559 (2016) and Roach v. BM Motoring, LLC (2017), which cases established favorable legal rules for New Jersey employees.
